Step into the darker side of winter as we invite you to the Masquerade Ball 2026. When Copenhagen turns cold, we heat things up in one of the most atmospheric venues we’ve ever claimed. After teasing us all at this years FFP they are back to seduce us once again, this time from behind their mystical masks. If you missed this outstanding act at FFP now’s your chance!!

Mystical Alliance is a duet between two performing artists with roots in contemporary circus. Combining exceptional physical skill with a distinct artistic language, they create a dramatic visual spectacle. Suspended from the ceiling, in a large metal frame, their bodies entwine in a gravity defying dialog, while exploring new ways to co-exist.

Featuring contortionist Ylva Maia, who moves with uncanny grace as her supple body unfolds into forms beyond imagination. She stuns, seduces and unsettles- often all at once - in an act of surreal sensual surrender.

Michiel Tange van Leeuwen is the other half of Mystical Alliance. With his tall, extravagant appearance he is dominating the room without question. Michiel is bringing an immersive, ambient performance, showcasing the fragility of balance as a metaphor for life itself.

Pushing forward with an eye to the the liberatory nature of both underground music and the myriad cultures from which it is linked, Milo Makua - the project of Copenhagen’s Camilla Konstantin - exhibits a subtle diversity in touch. From techno’s multitudes they display an affinity for the headsier edges of the enchanted and the deep. Yielding at times to experimental urges whilst remaining firmly in step with the fundamentalist drive of techno, there is an art here, one which distills the purist essences of early techno with more modern textural and rhythmic complexity.

Milo’s contributions to community and culture - from the small-cap Urtelyst Festival to conceptual nights such as ‘Postyr’ and ‘Looney Tunes’ - are well numbered. An approach defined by thinking forward, moving forward, not through music solely as inidvidual expression but as a communal means from which to reach beyond the structural limits of a life bound by normative and systemic rigidity.

These are collective liberatory essences, of a type expressed through an enchanting aesthetic rawness.
