Softer Dating: Beyond the Binary at House of Play (240 kr for members, 300 kr for non-members)

House of Play is delighted to present this collaboration with Softer Dating who says: We’re so excited to bring Softer Dating to a space like House of Play — a place that already holds so much curiosity, care, and depth around being human. Like them, we believe that intimacy, connection, and embodiment deserve more conscious space in our lives — especially in how we relate and date. Dating is everywhere. But it’s often rushed, awkward, or transactional — especially in the world of swiping and first-date small talk. Softer Dating is our invitation to do things differently. This is a space to explore dating with more awareness, more slowness, and more integrity. A space where connection becomes something to savor, not something to perform. Here’s what we’ll be exploring together: 🌿 Letting go of the “dating script” and meeting each other as we are 🌀 Inviting spontaneity, honesty, weirdness, and play 💫 Slowing waaaay down — into presence, into the body, into sensation 🤲 Making space for subtle intimacy and embodied connection (touch, eye contact, scent, silence...) This isn’t about finding “the one.” It’s about rediscovering what it feels like to truly meet someone — and to be met. Whether you’re craving romance, friendship, or something beautifully in between, come exactly as you are. We’ll meet you there. THE STRUCTURE OF THE EVENING: The evening will be structure in two parts: The first hour or so will be more structured and guided, after landing as a group, we will invite you into small one-on-one encounters lasting a couple of minutes each, giving you the chance to meet many lovely humans. The second part will be more open, choose your own adventure style! Here you'll get to interact with whoever you would like to get to know a little deeper! WHO IS IT FOR: This event is for anyone longing for deep, authentic connection. It is explicitly queer-friendly, welcoming people primarily aged 21-45 of all sexual orientations, genders and expressions. There will be space for approximately 40 people. “Am I queer enough?” Only you can decide if this space is for you. What matters most is that you come with respect for this being a queer-centered, non-heteronormative space — one that asks for awareness, openness, and care. Ideally, you’re curious about connecting with people of all genders and orientations, and approach others from a place of openness and non-judgment.
