Distortion Club: OMG It's Kollektiv Turmstrasse live

The next episode in our OMG event series features German house music institution Kollektiv Turmstrasse with a unique live set. Joining him on the lineup is local star Ida Daugaard. The event is part of "Distortion Club," and everyone with a Distortion Festival wristband will have free entry.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse is one of Germany’s most successful live electronic acts, known for shaping global techno and house with a dynamic and evolving sound. Led by Nico Plagemann, the project explores the space between breakbeat, house, and dancefloor anthems, blending influences from soul to techno with a strong sense of artistic freedom.

Originally a duo founded in Wismar with Christian Hilscher, Kollektiv Turmstrasse rose to fame with their iconic album Rebellion der Träumer and releases on labels like Kompakt, Diynamic, and Cocoon. After Christian’s departure, Nico continued solo, performing globally and building an acclaimed discography featuring hits like Grillen im Park, Ordinary, Last Day, and the viral Sorry, I'm Late, which has racked up nearly 50 million Spotify streams.

As the driving force behind the inclusive YAP (You Are Perfect) event series, Nico remains a pioneering figure in electronic music, constantly evolving and embracing change. “My sound is a crossover of everything I listen to,” he says, “from soul to techno.”

Wardrobe: Lockers are free to use with a lock. Bring your own or purchase one for 40 DKK at the entrance.

Door Policy - Soft Selection: Everyone is welcome as long as they are arriving in a responsible state (e.g. not being too intoxicated or unfriendly). Our door staff will still make sure that everyone who enters the club is being made aware of our policy.

‍All club nights operate with some level of selection. This event operates with the lightest level, Soft Selection. For the safety of our guests and staff, we may find it necessary to deny entry without providing an explanation.

𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀‍ The Awareness Team is at the club every weekend, identifiable by their bright green shirts labeled "AWARENESS." You can also reach them by contacting the door staff. Guests must speak with the door staff upon entry to ensure everyone is informed about our code of conduct and policies. Violating these policies can result in immediate eviction without a refund.
