Introduction to ropes for absolute beginners
Get a short introduction to what Rope Play is about in this workshop before the weekly Rope jam. We will do some small exercises in pairs with tying and being tied - enough for you to experience some of the connection, playfulness, power and surrender that Rope Play
offers.
With this introduction you learn enough that you can join the Rope Jam right after, if you want to. You can also join our weekly jams without any introduction.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for absolute beginners, no prior experience necessary.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No. You can come alone or with a partner.
The small exercises are practical, physical, and hands-on. You’ll be invited to work with different people within your boundaries. You may choose to play exclusively with your partner(s) if that feels right for you.
DRESSCODE
Wear something comfortable that you can move around freely in.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring ropes if you have them. We have ropes you can borrow.
TIMES
Intro to Ropes is every first Monday of the month.
Doors open at 17.30 and close at 17.45 sharp where we start, you cannot arrive after this time. We end at 18:45.
TICKETS
Free for all but you still need to sign up
Please note: If you want to join the Rope Jam right after, you need to buy a separate ticket for that. See our calendar.
