CLUB SH1FT3RS is a new event format that merges the energy of electronic club music with the powerful self-expression of the ballroom scene. The concept is a collaboration between ELCA from the event collective and label Mana Club—and Zutana 007, renowned ballroom dancer, event organizer and teacher. Together, they welcome the public to an event that bridges the rave and ballroom communities, creating a space where the two vibrant energies come together. We challenge you to bring it in a shape shifting outfit inspired by your favorite celebrity or character.

00:00 - 01:30 Ballroom showcase: Led by Zutana 007 (She/Her) as the host & MC and JayJay Revlon (He/Him) as the sole judge, with DJ Becky (He/Him) providing beats for the ball. For this electrifying ball, we challenged the walkers to embody their favorite celebrity/characters with a stunning shapeshifting effect. From iconic legends to modern superstars, the runway is their stage to bring their essence to life with fabulous originality and creative flair.

Ballroom was created by Black and Latina trans women in Harlem in the late ‘60s as a space of expression and competition. Rooted in the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community, it has grown into a movement celebrating fashion, performance, and identity. If you're new, be mindful of the space you take.

JayJayRevlon (He/Him):

Jay Jay Revlon, born and raised in Peckham, South London, is a DJ, event curator, and key figure in the UK’s Ballroom scene. He is known for his work as Overseer for the House of Revlon and his passion for creating safe spaces for QPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Jay Jay has collaborated with artists like Honey Dijon and Years & Years and has performed at Fabric, The Royal Academy, Rinse FM, Copenhagen Pride, Boilerroom x COACH, and Sydney Mardi Gras Bondi Beach Party. His sets mix House, Afrohouse, and Ballroom beats with appearances at iconic venues like Fabric, The Royal Academy, and Rinse FM.

03:00 - 05:00 Dragongirl (She/They): Copenhagen-based is a versatile composer, producer, and DJ. Her sets are a vibrant, high-energy mix of trance, techno and happy hardcore with influences from eurodance, gabber and EDM, inviting the audience on a playful and unexpected adventure.

05:00 - 07:00 ELCA (He/Him): Representing the label and event collective Mana Club, ELCA both as a producer and DJ delivers a bold, high-octane sound that fuses UK bass, hybrid club, and ballroom-driven beats with a playful yet club-focused edge. Most recently, he contributed a guest mix to Rinse France, invited by French DJ Mensonges, and has made waves on Pana Radio, Radio Flouka, and stages across Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Aarhus, and Aalborg.

Door Policy - Soft Selection: Everyone is welcome as long as they are arriving in a responsible state (e.g. not being too intoxicated or unfriendly). Our door staff will still make sure that everyone who enters the club is being made aware of our policy.

Guests must speak with the door staff upon entry to ensure everyone is informed about our code of conduct and policies. Violating these policies can result in immediate eviction without a refund.
