GAG x DAS: XX at Den Anden Side

◈ 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗥 ◈

☆ t e s t p r s s s t e s t p r e s s (all spaces, no caps) are a DJ & production duo originating from Aberdeen but now residing in Glasgow. Forward thinkers in the trance and techno realm, they’re known best for their high energy fast paced dunts. 2023 saw the boys enter Europe and really bring their UK interpretation of the emerging Eurodance/Trance sound to these crowds with releases on the Berlin powerhouse label ‘Speedmaster Records’ as well as the pioneering ‘Method 808’. What followed from this was a whole host of support to this day on various tracks from artists like ‘Ihatemodels’, ‘SPFDJ’, ‘Trym’, ‘Patrick Mason’ and ‘VTSS’. Another stand out moment was their Australia tour being one of the first acts to take this new sound intercontinental. This has paved the way for what can only be seen as a very successful 2024 so far. With increased recognition from the scene their status has grown and with it high profile gigs such as ‘Tomorrowland’, and the opportunities to play iconic venues like ‘Watergate Berlin’ and ‘Le Bikini Toulouse’. Alongside this they have followed up the gigs with a string of solid releases on ‘DopamineWIFI’, ‘Ultra Music’ and ‘B1 Recordings’ with some huge collaborations also in the pipeline set to be released before the new year.

☆ steamboi steamboi are a Copenhagen-based DJ, co-founder of the event series Zeitgeist, hosting artists as Schacke, August Tange, MZA, Elias Gozal ect. and resident at the queer party GAG at Den Anden Side. Often found behind the decks in the early morning hours, they have developed a reputation for delivering sets with powerful basslines and an enchanting atmosphere. Their sets aim to evoke a sense of empowerment and rejuvenation, leaving listeners with a lasting impact. steamboi loves to keep it interesting by crafting sets that are unpredictable and dynamic, keeping the audience curious and engaged. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a newcomer to the scene, steamboi's sets are not to be missed. Experience a wave of energy and excitement that will leave you feeling like anything is possible.

☆ Hultgren As the electronic club scene made its comeback after the Covid hiatus, Hultgren swiftly made a name for himself as an emerging talent in the Malmö and Copenhagen electronic music scene. A key member of the Malmö-based Norm collective and a resident DJ since the inception of the GAG event series, Hultgren’s sets are known for their dynamic rhythms, infectious grooves, and a hint of melancholy. He brings a diverse range of genres to the decks, including techno, electro, breaks, and trance, consistently creating energetic atmospheres that keep dancefloors alive.

☆ DJ Joe After spending 6 months in San Diego 1992 where he became a part of the rave and electronic scene. He really wasn’t found of the music played at the gay clubs in Malmö so out of nowhere he got his first dj gig at Indigo. Started his first mixed gay club ”The Temple” 1995 with Copenhagen dj Alexis as one o the residents. He is no stranger to the club scene in Copenhagen, playing at the clubs PAN, Catwalk, The Tube. Being a club promoter and dj didn’t work out when he started his longest running club WONK (17 years) so some where between 2000/05 he put the headphones on the shelf and only played on and off at his own events. When h and his partner open Trixie dec 2023, during the summer when they had a dj in the backyard he started playing there to hold expenses down he got the passion back to dj. He says he doesn’t have a specific style but he loves to play a lot of 90’s techno/trance. Oh and he is also the creator this club and handles all the dj bookings since a year back.

☆ Yunas Co-founder of Syntharax and resident Yunas has brought a bag full of raw pounding schranz and hardtech. With a particular taste for trancendental hard hitting kicks and gut wrenching punches combined with more quiet breakdowns creates a magnum opus of power intens beats.

Door Policy - Normal Selection: Our door staff will curate the crowd to the extent they find necessary, and they and have an increased focus on the vibe and balance of the audience. On these nights we expect anyone who enters to have a basic knowledge about our policy.

‍All club nights operate with some level of selection. This event operates with the middle level, Normal Selection.
